Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 16710-13 is a 13-foot, 3-conductor shielded, armored interconnect cable to transmit high-fidelity vibration data from sensors to machinery protection systems. It acts as a rugged link connecting Bently Nevada 330400 or 330425 accelerometer acceleration transducers directly to critical monitoring frameworks. These accelerometers are intended for critical machinery applications where casing acceleration measurements are required, such as gear mesh monitoring. The 330400 is designed to address the requirements of American Petroleum Institute Standard 670 for accelerometers. It provides an amplitude range of 50 g peak and a sensitivity of 100 mV/g. The 330425 is identical except it provides a larger amplitude range (75 g peak) and a sensitivity of 25 mV/g.

Q:What are the primary specifications of this cable?
A:It is a 3-conductor, shielded, 22 AWG (0.5 mm²) armored cable. It comes built with a 3-socket plug on one end and terminal lugs on the other.
Q:How should the armored layer be grounded?
A:If the cable is not routed inside a dedicated protective conduit, the armor layer should be grounded rigidly to a structure close to the sensor. The opposing end of the armor layer connects directly to the monitor housing or enclosure structure.
Q:What is the structural bending limit?
A:To avoid damaging the integrated internal conductors or crushing the outer armor jacket, you must maintain a minimum bend radius of 38.1 mm (1.5 inches) during deployment and routing.
