The GE Fanuc / VMIC VMIACC-0577 CompactPCI Rear Transition Board is designed to be used in conjunction with the VMICPCI-7755, -7756, and -7699 single-board computers (SBCs). The VMIACC-0577 mounts in the rear transition area of the backplane and provides access to the serial, USB, enhanced IDE, floppy, and PMC I/O by way of the J3 and J5 connectors.

The CompactPCI J3 and J5 connectors carry all associated signals from the 6U front mount SBCs through the backplane to the VMIACC-0577 J3 and J5 connectors.
