ABB’s MGC600-CPU controllers are the building blocks of the Microgrid Plus System.They enable communication between all the electrical devices in the microgrid and use the data communicated by the devices to make local decisions that work cohesively for the benefit of the whole microgrid.

The controller operates with a Power Supply for Work (AA) of 24 V DC (±10%), ensuring stable operation in industrial microgrid environments where reliable low-voltage DC power is required for continuous control and monitoring tasks.For system integration, the MGC600-CPU provides a Communication Interface (BB) supporting RS-232 and RS-485 protocols, enabling flexible and reliable data exchange with a wide range of field devices, meters, and protection relays within the Microgrid Plus architecture.
