The GE Fanuc IC693BEM321 I/O Link Master Module can be connected with up to 16 I/O link slave modules in order to form a proprietary GE Fanuc link for monitoring and controlling complex processes needing a high response velocity. As many as 1024 inputs and 1024 outputs can be handled from a single master module, making it an ideal solution for adding processing power to preloaded GE Fanuc programmable logic controllers.
The GE Fanuc IC693BEM321 I/O Link Master Module Card, as the name suggests, is a serial interface card that links the inputs received from up to 16 slave modules into the GE Fanuc Series 90-30 PLC systems serving as a gateway between those slave modules and the systems' CPUs. Up to 1K (1024), digital inputs can be received in a single GE Fanuc IC693BEM321 I/O Link Master Module Card, producing 1K of digital outputs to transmit command responses to field actuators. The configuration of this interface card is done through a hand-held GE Fanuc programmer or by using proprietary software
