The GE Fanuc IC693ACC301 is a Lithium battery. This battery is used to retain the contents of the volatile memory of Series 90-30 PLCs. It has a shelf life of 10 years with a maximum operating life of 1 year with output power of 3VDC and capacity of 1200 mAh.
The IC693ACC301 is a replacement battery, that is composed of Two (2) Lithium battery units in one package. These batteries are installed to retain the contents of the volatile memory or Random Access Memory (RAM) of the CPU. Only a single battery is needed by any Series 90-30 CPU.

This Lithium battery has an output voltage of 3VDC and capacity of 2000 mAh. It has a shelf life of 10 years and rated operating life of 1 year, depending on the CPU used and utilization of the IC693ACC301 battery.
The IC693ACC301 performs a critical role of maintaining the contents of the Random Access Memory (RAM) including the user program. This battery increases uptime and decreases the risk of unwanted stoppage of the controller and loss of user program. When battery charge is low, the CPU that hosts the power supply will trigger the BATT LED to activate. This LED activation indicates that installed battery will lose charge within a short period of time.
