The IC3600LLXA1A is a PCB component for the Mark I and/or Mark II series for steam or gas turbine management. While the MKI/MKII have since been made obsolete by the release of newer Speedtronic systems like the Mark V and Mark VI, they are still in use in many locations. Both systems focused on controlling the turbine output power over the load range, limiting the maximum output to remain consistent to the unit’s capabilities, sequencing the turbines and its auxiliaries for startup, providing a protective shutdown in the case of a system failure, and annunciating and monitoring malfunctions.
The IC3600LLXA1A has relatively few components. It functions as a logic expander. Primarily it has a single line of nine resistors of a carbon composite material. All resistors are marked as “R1.” Besides this line, the board has two lines of diodes, which are placed on the board in groups of four, three, or two.
