IC200CBL001 is a GE Communications Programming Serial Cable. This specific cable offers a 9-pin M to 9-pin F, RS-232 compatible with PacSystem and Versamax. A straight through extension cable works with this cable. This is a CPU programming cable that has been preassembled for ease of use.

When attaching the IC200CBL001 cable, use port 1 as an RS-232 port with a 9-pin female D-sub connector. This is used as the boot loader when upgrading the CPU firmware. The pinout of the port 1 uses a straight through cable to connect with an AT-style, standard port. The cable shielding attaches to the shell for functionality.

When using a point to point configuration, the two devices are connected to the same communication line with a maximum of 15 meters length between the two. In this type of connection, the shield must connect to the shell on both connectors on both cable ends to properly function.
