This unit is the FM2-712-PD, a Feeder Manager 2 module, which is a part of the General Electric Multilin series. These models were all developed by General Electric’s division of automated industrial technology.

This series is comprised of exactly 4 models that share certain specifics. Each unit is outfitted with the same number of protections. There is the three phase thermal overload protective measures (49/51), earth fault protection (50G), an undervoltage reclose unit, and metering for phase RMS current, power, energy, and primary voltage intake. There is a set of timers and counters. Externally, there are 6 control inputs, and 10 programmable inputs. For outputs, there is only one programmable output, and an emergency shutdown (ESD) output port.

The FM2-712-PD model is particular  is outfitted with a LCD character display, which is able to render 2 lines of text, at 40 characters each. A physical keypad and status and action indicator LED lights are integrated below it. The VT and switch inputs are rated for a voltage intake of 120 volts of alternating current.

The Feeder Manager 2 series is now out of production, due to its status as an outdated lineup of automation equipment.
