Description

The PLC 1336-WB035 is a Dynamic Brake Chopper Module used with Bulletin 1336 AC drive systems. The module is connected to the DC bus of the drive and controls the flow of regenerative energy generated during motor deceleration. When the DC bus voltage rises above the preset level, the chopper circuit switches the external braking resistor into the circuit, converting excess electrical energy into heat.
