Product Description:
The HIMAX X-AI3201 analog input module is intended for use in the programmable electronic system (PES) HIMax. The module is inserted into any of the base plate slots with the exception of the slots reserved for system bus modules. The module is used to evaluate up to 32 analog input signals.
Powered by a 24 VDC supply, the HIMAX X-AI3201 ensures stable and reliable operation in demanding industrial environments. It supports a current input range with a minimum of 500 mA and a maximum of 1.5 A, enabling consistent performance when interfacing with multiple field transmitters and sensors.
Featuring a 12-bit digital resolution and a 200 Ω shunt for current measurement, the module provides precise and accurate signal acquisition. Additionally, with interference voltage suppression greater than 60 dB, the HIMAX X-AI3201 ensures robust performance and high signal integrity even in electrically noisy industrial conditions.
Application:
Offshore platforms and refineries: Monitoring pressure, level and flow for fire protection systems.
Nuclear power and conventional power plants: Monitoring cooling water temperature, steam pressure and radiation levels.
Turbine control: Providing overspeed protection for rotating machinery such as steam turbines and compressors. Water treatment and gas supply: Safety interlocks and monitoring in urban gas dispatch or large water treatment plants
Diagnostic Function:
Self-check Function: It features highly comprehensive internal self-diagnosis (Cross-check).
Channel Monitoring: It can detect open circuits, short circuits, over-limit conditions, and faults of the A/D converter.
Indicator Lights: The panel is equipped with multi-color LEDs (Run, Error, OK) to visually display the status of the module and channels.
